Approach: the asset list, photographs and documents are analysed first; the inspection format is then agreed: one object, a group of assets, a site visit, a technical condition record, a defect list or a report.

What can be examined

  • machinery, equipment, mechanisms and assemblies;
  • vehicles, specialised machinery and attachments;
  • computers, servers, network equipment and office equipment;
  • retail, refrigeration, warehouse and laboratory equipment;
  • batches of assets and groups of fixed assets from a list.
Asset valuation is not provided.
The work is not valuation activity and does not replace a professional valuer's report. The specialist does not determine market, liquidation, replacement, book or any other value. The work concerns technical condition, defects, wear, completeness, repairability and signs that equipment is unfit for continued use.

Scope of work

A specialist report helps establish technical condition and signs of unfitness. It does not replace the write-off committee's decision, accounting, a tax position, recycling or the asset owner's decision.
